Ferguson Police Station

Pinnacle Contracting, Inc. has inked a deal with the city of Ferguson in St. Louis County to complete two projects for $5 million.

Under the deal,  Pinnacle will renovate and expand the Ferguson Police Station at 222 S. Florissant Road and build a new community center at 1050 Smith Avenue.

The police station, which will be completed September 2014, will expand by 6,300 square feet bringing the structure to 23,900 square feet.  Pinnacle will add a new dispatch center and courtroom, and will look to make the exterior similar to that of the city's fire station, which sits next door.

The community center will be Ferguson's first and will turn a former Catholic church and school building into a 27,000 square foot center that will feature a fitness center, senior center, youth center, internet cafe, new locker rooms and several multipurpose rooms that will be available for the public to rent.  The community center will be completed by June 2014.
